Quality Education
Supporting rural learners and young people to pursue knowledge, confidence and the foundations they need to shape their futures.
Discuss education support →Rural potential. Shared opportunity.
Vision Riders Foundation works alongside rural young people, single mothers, orphans and communities in The Gambia to expand access to quality education, practical opportunity and a more hopeful future.
Our story
Vision Riders Foundation was founded in 2018 and is registered in The Gambia. From its home in Sare Bojo Village in the Upper River Region, the organisation was created to stand with communities whose talent and determination often exceed the opportunities available to them.
Our work begins with listening. We focus on the barriers rural young people face in accessing quality education, while recognising that lasting progress also depends on stronger families and resilient communities. That is why our mission includes single mothers, orphans and people working together to build safer, more hopeful futures.
We do not see rural communities as places of limitation. We see knowledge, courage and potential waiting to be supported.
What we work toward
Our focus areas connect education, livelihoods, care and community participation—because meaningful change is strongest when people can progress together.

Our approach is grounded in respect for community knowledge and a commitment to practical, long-term progress.
Begin with the priorities, experience and ideas of the people closest to the challenge.
Bring communities, supporters and partners together around clear shared goals.
Strengthen knowledge, confidence, skills and access to meaningful opportunity.
Encourage local ownership and solutions that can continue beyond a single activity.
One community, many pathways
A young person’s education is connected to the wellbeing of their family. A mother’s livelihood can strengthen a child’s future. A community with voice and opportunity can create change that lasts.
